Amnish Sohal

EXECUTIVE SERVICES COORDINATOR, CALGARY

Amnish is the newest addition to the Pekarsky & Co. team as of December 2022. Originally from Punjab, India, she came to Canada in 2012 as an international student where she lived in Toronto for two years, moved to Calgary in 2014 and fell in love with the city and its proximity to the mountains.

Amnish is the Executive Services Coordinator at Pekarsky & Co. where her job is to make sure our searches run effortlessly, the office runs smoothly and manage all of our clients
and candidates as they come into the office. Beyond this, Amnish also liaises with external vendors and suppliers for office maintenance including telecommunication services, technology services, office repairs, equipment and building lease, and landlord queries. She assists the firm’s Director, Marketing and Administration with all administrative tasks and the other team members with various search projects as required.

Prior to joining Pekarsky & Co., Amnish worked at Lowe’s Canada as a Department Manager of Administration. At Lowe’s Canada, she led a team of associates to ensure that customers received exceptional customer service and administrative processes run smoothly. She worked with the top management to establish and implement departmental policies, goals and procedures and oversaw HR operations.

Amnish holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab, India and an International Business Management Diploma from Centennial College, Toronto, Ontario. As a part of her Diploma, she also completed an internship as a Social Media Coordinator with a Calgary-based social media company.

Outside of work, Amnish loves being outdoors, travelling, trying new foods, spending time with family and participating in various sports and fun activities with her son Sahib.
