THE AMPERSAND In 2009, Ranju joined Pekarsky & Co. (The Pekarsky Group at the time), and she has been instrumental in establishing the firm as one of Calgary’s leading executive firms from it’s beginnings. Ranju has been providing trustworthy insight and guidance to clients and candidates alike, delivering service excellence, mentoring juniors and assisting with the growth of the business.
Before joining the firm, Ranju was a Partner and Senior Vice President of Corporate Services in an environmental services company based in Calgary with eight offices across Western Canada. She was responsible for leading multi-functional corporate teams including human resources, marketing, and strategic corporate development.
After a 16 year successful career in the environmental consulting industry, Ranju embarked upon executive search employing her experience in business and human resource management. She focuses on the recruitment of senior-level executives in the legal and corporate services professions and in April 2014, she was welcomed as a Partner in the firm.
Having successfully executed searches for both legal and non-legal positions in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, across various industries including energy, professional services, engineering, agriculture, education, and not-for-profit sectors, Ranju has developed an outstanding reputation as an executive search professional. She brings experience in the design and implementation of operational excellence initiatives, and business growth and success strategies. Candidate and client care, the development of trusting relationships, and operational excellence are fundamental components of her work.
Ranju holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University, and she is active in her community through her volunteer efforts with organizations such as the Inn From the Cold, Calgary Stampede and community sports associations.
