“The Legal profession is all about networking. The Legal profession is a hustle, you cannot sit in one place and think you’ve made it. So, I hustled. I went to every event where I could meet lawyers, I reached out to as many lawyers as I could, and always left a good impression and made sure I did a good job.” Kene Ilochonwu is the first Black Bencher elected to the Law Society of Alberta and a long-time friend of our very own, Erin Dand. We are so thrilled to have had the opportunity to interview Kene and have him share his career story across two different countries and legal systems. Check out their conversation in Breaking Barriers: A conversation with Kene Ilochonwu, Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta.
