Confidential Legal Leadership Role (WR: 715)

We have partnered with a confidential organization to help them find a senior legal leader to add to their team. Located in Edmonton, the successful candidate will lead a significant sized team of lawyers and staff. Our client is seeking someone who enjoys building and modernizing legal practice processes and performance metrics, as well as mentoring, coaching and inspiring a team. The role does not entail active legal practice, so it’s a great opportunity for someone who is at a point in their career where they’d like to move into a full-time strategic people leadership role, leveraging their technical legal skillset and experience.

Who we’re looking for

  • Candidates called to the bar in Alberta with at least 10 years of post-call legal experience, ideally with previous experience serving in a formal people leadership role
  • Candidates who love pouring into a team, and mentoring, coaching and inspiring other lawyers
  • Ideally candidates who previously practiced in the areas of litigation, administrative law, criminal law, or another ‘advocacy’ area of law
