Director, Human Resources – Power & Utilities Company (WR: 672)

Our client is a community energy systems provider delivering innovative energy solutions for a net zero future. As an owner and operator of large energy systems in North America, they work with real estate developers and asset managers to develop energy systems for urban growth, with lower power grid demands and enhanced livability for citizens and future generations. As a rapidly growing organization, they are addressing the challenges of urbanization, land use and climate change, and offer essential and sustainable energy solutions for municipalities and public institutions such as hospitals and universities.


We are working with our client in the building of their Human Resources corporate group to be led by their Director, Human Resources. This individual will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, be a member of the management team, and lead the development and implementation of an effective HR strategy in alignment with business strategy, with an emphasis on managing and sustaining change to a high-performance culture and rapidly growing workforce based out of Vancouver, Toronto and expanding into the U.S. The goal of this leader will be to develop and establish an effective HR department with efficient and reliable foundational elements of workforce recruitment, talent management, total rewards, information management and leadership development.
