Our Partner, Kenniff Leadership, is recruiting an Executive Director for the Douglas Foundation.

Accountability

The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors through its Chair. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the overall fundraising strategy for the Foundation, including the ongoing annual fund, special and major gift fundraising, capital campaign planning and implementation, and donor relations and stewardship. The Executive Director works in close cooperation with the Institute and the Research Centre, as well as the CIUSSS-ODIM – Centre intégré universitaire de santé et des services sociaux del’Ouest de l’Île de Montréal of which the Douglas has been a part since thegovernment’s administrative reform of 2015.

Profile

You are a dynamic, bilingually articulate leader whose background and experiences have prepared you to become the next Executive Director of the Douglas Foundation, at a challenging and exciting time in its development. Working closely with the Institute and the Research Centre, you are a strategic thinker and achiever who can establish ambitious objectives and marshal the resources needed to attain them.

You are passionate about the mission of the Douglas Institute and the field of mental health, and this translates into a demonstrated ability to promote its objectives and programs successfully within the philanthropic community.

You have built networks and teams and have successfully inspired them to flourish. Donors and volunteers appreciate your eloquent, collaborative and engaging manner. Your management style is open and focused on teamwork.
