Our client, Avenue Living, has experienced rapid growth since 2006, having acquired over $3.5B in assets under management across Canada and the US. As a result of continued strategic growth and to further enhance the organization’s focus on hiring the best, Avenue Living is seeking an experienced corporate securities lawyer to join its growing Legal Team.
Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, the Legal Counsel will provide valuable legal services partnership to the business, supporting all corporate and securities mandates. Operating within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters across all four of Avenue Living’s funds, as well as other non-core business partnerships.
The ideal candidate will bring five to eight years of corporate and securities law experience gained in a top tier firm or inhouse environment, preferably with a focus on the exempt market. They will be a confident, self-starter motivated by the opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment offering exposure to a broad variety of business challenges.
