The Role
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, the Senior Legal Counsel will have the unique opportunity to be at the ground floor of the development of ATCO’s legal team. This is a broad in-house securities role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in complex public issuer transactional work, as well as help manage ATCO’s corporate governance across the business, including for its subsidiaries worldwide, managing external counsel as necessary.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for team-oriented and self-starting securities lawyers with at least 6 years of post-call legal experience related to capital markets, M&A and corporate finance. The successful candidate will have excellent contract drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills and will have a track record of leading and executing on a variety of securities and M&A files.
