Legal Counsel (WR: 507)
We have partnered with a global player in the industrial gas turbine repair and service sector to find a Legal Counsel to join their team. Our client has a strong international presence and is growing. Last year alone, our client had boots on the ground in over 35 countries around the world.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of contract analysts and support the commercial and sales teams as they bid for and win work around the globe. This person will work on the coordination, commercial review and preparation of all bids and tenders, as well as provide a broad range of general commercial legal advice.
The successful candidate will also:
- Be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
- Have a minimum of three years of post-call commercial legal experience (however, we note that our client would also welcome candidates with more experience)
- Ideally have experience working in an in-house setting
- Have superior contract drafting, negotiating and reviewing skills
- Have experience independently managing corporate/commercial legal files
