Our client is seeking to add a Director, Regulatory Applications to its Regulatory Applications team. Based in Calgary and reporting to the Vice President, Regulatory Applications, the Director, Regulatory Applications will be responsible for managing various regulatory applications on behalf of our client, including applications relating to cost of service, performance-based regulation, compliance and facilities. He or she will also be responsible for monitoring or intervening in applications by others that impact our client’s interests, as well as providing regulatory advice on various business issues as they arise. To fill the role of Director, Regulatory Applications, we are seeking a seasoned and experienced utilities regulatory professional with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible regulatory experience.  This individual must have experience interacting and working alongside senior management and/or executives within a large organization, a proven ability to run regulatory hearings and appear as a senior witness, and extensive experience in the utility industry, preferably in Alberta.
